Registered Nurse (Per Diem) - Partial Hospitalization Program

Job Description:

Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director, the registered nurse assigned to the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program is responsible and accountable for planning directing, assessing and providing nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge. May be required to float to inpatient services as needed.

Experience 

One year recent experience in an acute psychiatric treatment setting or outpatient behavioral health setting is required.  Experience facilitating and leading therapy groups focused on mental health is required.

Education

BSN preferred.

Licensure/Certifications

State of California RN license required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS (required). De-Escalation training must be completed within the first 6 months of hire.
