Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director, the registered nurse assigned to the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program is responsible and accountable for planning directing, assessing and providing nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge. May be required to float to inpatient services as needed.
One year recent experience in an acute psychiatric treatment setting, or a partial hospitalization setting, is required.
State of California RN license required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS (required). MOAB certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
