Job Description:
Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director/supervisor, the Network Administrator II is responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the organization's network. Builds, maintains, and administers the networks. Performs system backups on network servers. Designs and supports server system(s) and support software. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under limited supervision. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Experience:
Four (4) years experience in networking field with Three (3) years experience performing similar duties in a multi-protocol environment in a healthcare organization. Extensive experience with LAN/WAN and Cisco WiFi networks, Cisco IOS command-line functionality, general monitoring, and troubleshooting. Experience with various operating systems. Knowledge and experience with Epic Rover application and hand-held wireless devices. Experience with network monitoring tools; both application-based and hardware. Proficiency in interfacing with vendors to isolate and resolve network problems. Extensive knowledge of Cisco licensing and support tools such as Cisco Prime and SmartNet.
Education:
B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and education. Passed the Cisco CCIE Written Exam.

$69.03The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.
