Job Description:
The Administrative Manager is responsible for providing direct supervision to the Administrative Assistants and Medical Assistants (Health Technicians). As a department leader, this role will include developing and overseeing workflows, evaluating staff performance, and managing a high performing workforce. This role will oversee productivity expectations, quality of work, and exceeding expectations. The Administrative Manager will facilitate routine meetings with staff to support process improvement opportunities and professional development. This role will coordinate and oversee Administrative Assistant and Medical Assistant new hire training.
The Administrative Manager will work closely with the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services Medical Director, Nursing Director, Assistant Director, as well as the Clinical Program Manager. In collaboration with other department leaders, this role will oversee program policies and procedures. They will also support continual regulatory agency survey preparation. This role includes a focus on evaluation of patient care services with a focus on access to services, patient experience, and standardized process development. This role will include collaborating with Patient Access and Patient Business Services.

Experience
Must have experience working as a medical assistant as well as an administrative assistant in a medical setting. Must have strong administrative and leadership skills. Experience in a leadership position with background in program/service development preferred. Experience with dual diagnosis and mental health patients preferred. Experience with medical billing and coding preferred. Insurance authorization experience preferred.
Education
AA degree in addition to administrative experience and knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in a medical, business, or psychology field preferred. Completion of course to achieve a Medical Assistant Certificate is required.
Licensure/Certifications
Medical Assistant Certificate within 6 months of hire. BLS certification required. Will complete organization approved de-escalation training.
