Job Description:

PER DIEM

Under the leadership of the department director, supervisor, assistant director, charge nurse, and under the direct supervision of a registered nurse the unit receptionist is responsible for performing clerical and receptionist duties related to the assigned department(s). Must be detail oriented, organized, have exceptional phone etiquette, communication skills, be able to multi-task and work in a busy demanding work environment. Critical thinking skills are essential.

Experience:

Prior unit reception experience or similar experience in a medical office environment preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education:

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field.

Licensure/Certification:

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required.  Pro-ACT certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.

Scheduled every other weekend, 3pm-10:30pm.

Available as needed for weekday coverage on Day or PM shifts.
