Position Summary:
The Senior Family Care Manager (FCM) reports to the Family Care Manager Program Manager and is responsible and accountable for providing information and practical support to child and adolescent Ohana patients and their families when they present with complex psychiatric and related psycho-social problems. The Senior Family Care Manager will assist patients and their families in understanding and managing issues that may be affecting their behavioral health status, including legal, educational, financial, occupational, transportation and insurance issues. The Senior Family Care Manager will facilitate referrals to services and programs outside of Ohana when they are indicated. As part of their role, the FCM will engage in ongoing efforts to learn about needed and effective local and regional resources for the families of Ohana patients and will build collaborative relationships with the programs and institutions providing these services. The Senior Family Care Manager will assist with clinical individual and group supervision for Masters level students as well as ASW and AMFT’s.

Experience:
Must have a minimum of 5 year’s experience working with children, adolescents or families in this region and knowledge of the local and regional resources that are critical to the families of youth with behavioral health conditions, such as the educational system, legal resources, juvenile justice system, community services, and public insurance (MediCal) programs. Experience and knowledge of BBS supervisory role and required training.
Education:
Master’s degree in Social Work or related area (Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy) is required.
Licensure/Certifications:
LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD. Required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. Will complete mandatory 5150 training by Monterey County to obtain 5150 certification and obtain 5150 Professional staff authorization yearly.
Starting Salary Pay Range: $96k - $117k

Assigned Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8 hour day shifts. Saturday shifts, as needed.
