Job Description:

Position Summary:   

 The Ohana Program Manager (PM) reports to the Ohana Director of Operations under the clinical supervision of the Ohana Clinical Director. The PM is responsible for providing supervision to Associate Therapists on the Ohana Therapy Team. Additionally, the Program Manager will work with patients to provide intake evaluations and individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents and their families. Experience in supervising unlicensed therapists, and supervisory training and certification is required. In addition, training in evidence-based treatments for youth, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or modalities to treat substance use disorder is required. The Program Manager may provide behavioral health education to staff, patients and families and, when requested, to the community and other professionals. All team members at Ohana must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, quality of care and outcomes measurement, professionalism, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, flexibility, cultural humility, curiosity and comfort prioritizing safety and quality of care.

Experience and Skills:

Must have a minimum of 5 years experience practicing therapy with children, adolescents and families. Must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience within a behavioral healthcare setting. Training in either Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy required. Training in evidence based treatments for Substance Use Disorders (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy or Contingency Management) or Parent Management modalities (such as PCIT) is preferred.

Education:

Doctoral Degree in Psychology is required.

Licensure/Certifications:

PsyD, PhD is required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. MOAB certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire. Certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other evidence-based therapy for children or adolescents preferred. Will complete mandatory 5150 training by Monterey County to obtain 5150 certification and obtain 5150 Professional staff authorization yearly.
