Ohana is seeking an experienced masters-level therapist in evidence-based psychotherapy to provide direct clinical care for patients and supervision for colleagues. The Ohana therapist will report to the Ohana Director of Operations and the Physician In Chief and is responsible for providing intake evaluations and individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents and their families. The right candidate will have at least one of the following:
1.Training and certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents is required, experience training or supervising other clinicians in the DBT paradigm is preferred.
2. Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is required and certification in CBT therapy is preferred. Experience in the treatment of pre-adolescent children with anxiety disorders and OCD is required. Experience training or supervising other clinicians in the evidence-based treatment of children with anxiety disorders is preferred.
In addition, the therapist will provide mental health education to patients and, as appropriate, to the community and other professionals. Other important dimensions of this position include commitment to continuous learning, innovation, quality of care and outcomes measurement, professionalism, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Must have strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, curiosity and comfort prioritizing safety and quality of care.
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in therapy with children, adolescents and families. Training and certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with adolescents is required. Experience providing training and supervision in DBT for other clinicians is preferred.
Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with appropriate experience will be considered.
LCSW is required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. Pro-ACT certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
