The LCSW reports to the Ohana Director of Operations and the Physician In Chief of Ohana and is responsible for providing intake evaluations and individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents and their families. Training in evidence based treatments for Substance Use Disorders (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy or Family Based Therapy for SUD) is required and certification in said therapy is preferred. Experience, preferably more than five years, in the treatment of adolescents with dual diagnoses is required.
In addition, the LCSW provides mental health education to patients and, as appropriate, to the community and other professionals. Other important dimensions of this position include commitment to continuous learning, innovation, quality of care and outcomes measurement, professionalism, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Must have strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, curiosity and comfort prioritizing safety and quality of care.
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in individual and group therapy with children, adolescents and families managing. Experience in in treatment of youth with dual diagnoses is required. Experience working with the families of dually diagnosed youth is preferred.
Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy will be considered for the right candidate.
LCSW is required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. Pro-ACT certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
