Under the leadership of the department director and Breast Center coordinator, the lead mammography technologist is responsible for providing oversight to assure the safe and efficient performance of mammography imaging services while maximizing resources and equipment in order to serve the entire breast center population. This individual must possess the skills and knowledge necessary to provide leadership for all technologist staff. The lead mammography technologist also interacts with patients, the public, medical staff, and peers in a positive, service-oriented manner on a consistent basis.
Mammography experience of at least three years is preferred. Some recent experience in the performance of all mammography imaging and diagnostic procedures is required.
As necessary to obtain required license.
Must have current licensure with the State of California in Diagnostic Radiography and Mammography, have American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for Mammography membership, and have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Assigned Work Hours:
Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. 8 hour day shifts with 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. start times.
