Job Description:

The Environmental Services Aide reports to the supervisor. He or she must be able to perform a variety of routines, repetitive and skilled cleaning tasks. Operate floor maintenance machinery and equipment. Deliver linen and other supplies to various departments throughout the hospital and maintain a safe and healthy working environment. This position requires the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must have the ability to communicate and work on a professional level in a high pace environment. Important dimensions of this position consist of professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, and good public/customer relations.

Experience

Knowledge of routine cleaning procedures with some experience.

Education

High school diploma, G.E.D. or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Other

Individuals driving company vehicles must posses a valid California driver’s license, have an acceptable driving record of three points or less, and participate in the DMV pull-notice program.
