Job Description:
Summary:
The Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing and social media strategies that drive engagement, increase brand visibility, and support our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services to our community.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to promote our healthcare services and brand, including but not limited to online advertising, email marketing, and content marketing
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow our organization's social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, LinkedIn, and others as deemed relevant
- Maintain a social media calendar for a variety of organizations throughout the enterprise, such as Montage Health, Community Hospital, MoGo Urgent Care, etc.
- Work with the Copywriter and Design team (when necessary), to create engaging and relevant content for social media, including posts, stories, and visual assets
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments and messages, and maintain a positive online community
Content Creation
- With the assistance of the Copywriter and Design team (when necessary), generate high-quality, original content for various digital platforms, including campaign landing pages, paid search ads, and social media ads.
- Ensure content aligns with the organization's brand voice and messaging
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Use analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing and social media efforts
- Prepare regular reports of digital marketing and social media efforts to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Organize posts within our social media management tool to ensure metrics from separate campaigns can be tracked accordingly
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute online marketing campaigns, including ad campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Meta Business Suite
- Assist in the development of digital marketing campaigns by collaborating on spend allocation, coordinating asset creation, and making data-based adjustments as needed post-launch.
- Optimize campaigns for maximum ROI and lead generation
Form creation and management
- Build out forms and communicate with necessary stakeholders (if needed) to research/determine specific form needs.
- Facilitate data from forms and/or train staff on ways to access necessary form data.
Community Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with relevant online communities to promote our brand and services
- Implement strategies for reputation management, including addressing negative feedback and fostering positive online interactions to maintain and enhance the organization's online image
Online Business Listing Management
- Build out online business listings for new physicians/locations using our reputation management software
- As needed, make applicable updates to ensure the accuracy of the online business listings
Compliance and Data Privacy
- Ensure social media activities adhere to healthcare industry regulations
- Ensure digital marketing vendors meet healthcare industry regulations and data privacy standards (such as HIPAA), as defined by the HIT and Compliance teams.
Stay Updated:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and digital marketing best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of the digital landscape
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or a related field
- Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation within the healthcare industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills
- Creativity, with a keen eye for design and visual content
- Data-driven mindset with a strong analytical ability
- Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
