Under the leadership of the department director, the Chaplain provides spiritual care to meet the needs of patients, family/significant others, volunteers and staff members. S/he works as part of the interdisciplinary care team coordinating spiritual care with the clinical team, volunteer chaplains and local clergy; appropriately documenting patient visits; responding to calls/Vocera throughout the working day and serving as on-call chaplain as needed on weekends, holidays and evenings. S/he recruits, trains, and supervises volunteer chaplains.
Demonstrated experience in pastoral and spiritual counseling with current recognition and good standing in spiritual community. Spanish speaking preferred.
Masters of Divinity or like degree.
Clinical Pastoral Education and chaplaincy board certification preferred. Ordained and/or actively licensed for ministry.

Assigned Work Hours:
Part time - 64 hours per pay period.
Expected to work five days a week, and will be required to assist with weekend coverage when necessary, up to once every three weeks. Will also be required to take call that is shared among the team
