Under the leadership of the department assistant director, the business development administrative specialist is responsible for the completion of assigned tasks related to commercial bundle arrangements, physician services and other administrative duties. Independently performs a wide variety of complex and responsible clerical duties. S/he maintains sensitive and confidential information. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality work, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad clerical knowledge.
Three years experience in healthcare field required. Knowledge of PC systems and word processing systems required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level are a must, as well as knowledge of basic use and editing of pdfs. Basic understanding of PowerPoint, Access and working knowledge of Epic EHR is a plus (training will be provided, as needed). Must be willing/able to learn new computer systems and applications.
High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Four year college degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in related field.
